We are proud to offer guided fly-fishing trips on South Boulder Creek. The creek is one of the hidden gems in the front range and right out our back door. It’s only a 45-minute drive from Denver and is a dry fly fisher’s paradise in the summer months. The canyon is beautiful below Gross Reservoir and with no roads following the stream it gives you a feel of isolation once you drop in. This tailwater contains many deep holes and ripples loaded with browns, rainbows, and brook trout. The bug life is incredible with insect hatches almost daily throughout the year. Midges, black stoneflies and BWO can be found in the spring. Summer will bring caddis, green and gray drakes, yellow sallies, PMDs and terrestrials. Fall will include more BWO and black midges.
