Rocky Mountain Angling Club

Are you tired of the combat fishing in some of the more popular fly-fishing areas in Colorado? 

  

Would you prefer to be the only one on the water? 


We are proud to offer our anglers access to private water throughout the state of Colorado through our relationship with Rocky Mountain Angling Club. The club was started in 1992 and offers exclusive access to quality catch and release fly fishing by way of arrangements with private owners throughout the Rocky Mountains. There are over 50 premier fly-fishing properties that are available to our anglers.

Our Favorite Properties

Gianinetti Spring Creeks, Roaring Fork, Ponds C-60 (Glenwood Springs)

The Gianinetti Ranch serves RMAC members a full plate of flyfishing choices. Two miles of intimate spring creeks, three-quarters of a mile of the broad Roaring Fork River, and two spring-fed ponds add up to make this one of the premier flyfishing properties in Colorado.

Clear Creek A-17 (Georgetown)

The Clear Creek Ranch contains 1/2 mile of the 30 foot wide Clear Creek, which can usually be fished year-round. It has been well managed by the owners and contains good populations of rainbows and browns averaging 10-14 inches, with a few rainbows approaching 20 inches.

C-42 Colorado River (Granby)

Beautiful mile plus stretch of the Colorado river downstream of Willow creek reservoir and lake Granby. Good population of browns and rainbows in the 8-18 inch range. Wide stretch of river made up of mostly gravel and large boulder bottom.The river is rich in aquatic life with caddis, sow bugs, midges, and stoneflies.

Big Thompson River A-19 (Estes Park)

The Bein Mountain Ranch contains about ½ mile of the 30-40 foot wide Big Thompson River. Good numbers of wild rainbows, as well as cutbows and browns thrive in this river, most in the 10-12 inch range and some exceeding 18 inches.
